Sittin on the front porch back n forth in a squeaky old wooden rokin chair drinkin moonshine and spittin tobacco into the front and havin a mighty fine time listenin to such fine music. This tune's been up for awhile. Ireally do need to get out more. Killer music, Farrell!
Insanely entertaining and historically bluesy. Also, one for blues guitar plays of any age since I believe, if I am honest, all blues is timeless, and playing it keeps one young. Though I used to be the oldest dude in any room, this made me feel young.
Thanks for listening and for sharing your feelings about the blues Ed. I agree, blues are timeless, and they do keep us young @ed-drury.
Nice 'n' gritty blues Mr cuz-kin - great backing track by Gary!
I somehow missed your good comment Ronbo...thanks a bunch! @ronbowes

Great references, Farrell. Tells quite a story. Nice riff Gary sent you to build this on. Cool harp work as well. Enjoyed it!
Thanks Frank!

I want to thank all you kind folks that stopped by to listen and comment on 62 Blues. Gary C and I both thank you!
Farrell
Thanks for stopping by again Gary! Yes this backing track guitar was done by Gary Carciello (Rayon Vert guitarist). This was a demo he sent over. We had planned to do more with it and include DrC (RV Keys) but as things sometimes go, it never materialized. So I used it for '62 Blues.
Farrell
I came back to this one tonight for another couple listens! Cool stuff. This is the same guitar player that played with you on Rayon Vert too, is it not? Great recording here!
Particularly love all your shoutouts to the artists who helped shape and mod who I am Farrell. Nice tune.
Thanks Toni! We must not forget those that have paved the musical road we've followed to our current destination......besides it brings back good flash backs, lol!
Farrell
I thank you kindly ErnE! I'm honored that you have it on your playlist and at the number one position...Wow thanks!
Farrell
Thanks Gary! Mixers do seem to like the lyric and grittiness of the song. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!

Thanks TV! You are right, even though I write in many genres, blues are a large part of my musical foundation. The lyric were easy to write being they are sprinkled with truths from my life's musical journey. It seems I have found my destination "On the road to '62 Blues" and have surpassed it. Maybe in 7 years I'll have to write another verse and change the title to '72 Blues, lol!
Farrell
Super blues tune collab. I always knew at heart Farrell is a down and dirty bluesman. Nice emoting on those vocals Farrell.... Congrats you guys!
Been hearing this one in the chat shows and it's becoming a MIX anthem! Great tune! Vocally, it's got a bit of a ZZ feel to it and a very memorable rhythm riff.
Thanks Doug! It was fun one to do.
Thanks again Rusty and MareCat! This was a fun collab. with Gary.
Farrell
Yeah. If you cant relate to this you aint playin and singin. New number one on my playlist. "on the road to '62 blues" Yeah.
Thanks for listening and commenting Dace!
Farrell
Thanks Rich for the good words!
Farrell
This reeks of the blues of any time. Yeah, timeless is the key here. When somethin is genuine, it goes right there and you know at first bar or at the first bar.. Cheers!
Thanks Rusty! I couldn't resist putting some words and blues harp to Gary's track. I think the lyric tells the journey of a lot of us musicians of a certain age. Thanks man!
